NEW Construction Landscape Remediation Service

100% Organic Preventative Termite and Fungi Treatment
The Best Time
is to treat the wood during
the home or building's construction phase.
The Best Way
is Environment Sensitive = CHEMICAL FREE
for the Health of You and Your Children
The following termite preventative procedures are a result of over thirty years in pest control: 10 Years actually devising environment sensitive products, methods and equipment for treating homes under construction.  FUngi on wood
When the building's exterior is wrapped with Tyvek or tar paper, before the windows are installed. ESP will power spray the complete structure with Borrada D, a borate (Disodium Octoborate Tetrahydrate) solution. This product will penetrate into the wood and leave a long lasting (eons) residual to provide protection against wood destroying insects, some molds and fungi. We are also adding a surfactant that will enhance the penetration of the borate  into wood. This surfactant in itself will kill most molds and fungi. This surfactant is used by lumber mills to kill sapstain. All base plates should be clean of debris for this treatment. The borate is at least thousands of years old, if kept away from running water, will provide a protection for your home that can’t be matched with pest control poisons or mechanical devises. If structural steel cannot prevent slabs from cracking, how can a light weight wire mesh do so? Most slabs will eventually crack in the Texas Hill Country. Termites will come through these cracks and eat untreated wood. What sense does bait stations feeding termites in the yard make. Treat it once with borate and be done with it, no continuing costs. This solution penetrates to the center of four two by fours screwed together with drywall screws. The ground beneath the pier and beam building should also be sprayed with Borrada D to kill most fungi that will likely be there.

Environment Sensitive WoodtreatmentWe are testing this solution as to the organisms, insects and the strengths of borate and surfactants necessary to maintain control. With this treatment, your building(s) will have protection that cannot be surpassed. And very likely much less expensive than chemical or mechanical applications. (Envirotech MSDS)

Mold on Porous Unfinished Wood? GONE

Kenn,
It worked great - cleaned up the mold, appears to have eliminated it and about 95% of the black spots. We sanded after letting the solution dry crusty on it for a few days in HOT sunny weather ( 85 - 105 degrees) - and it did take stain rubbed on as well as painted on . THANKS!!!! We have also sealed the wood so hopefully we will not have this come up again next winter.

Linda

Exotic woods: floors, stair cases, cabinets, etc; mesquite, pecan, barn wood, and a multitude of unique decorative woods. They bring a multitude of wood destroying insects, organisms and fungi. Do not finish these woods until they have been sprayed with borate.
Our borate solution will penetrate the wood and stop further problems, you don't want wood destroying beetles flying around in your new home infesting other woods and furniture.
TREATMENTS

I have had one report of these treatments affecting the chemically compromised in over 11 years.

Use Cedar mulch only, other mulches will encourage the growth of fungi and provide harborage for insects.
Cedar mulch will kill insects and fungi.
Scorpions, ants and other critters: the attic should be power dusted with diatomaceous earth. Scorpions are common in the Texas Hill Country. Power dusting with DE will discourage insects such as these from entering the attic, then entering the building. Please call me when the building is ready for occupancy.
